The niacinamide products I recommend almost every day

Niacinamide is an antioxidant ingredient - one of my Core 4 skincare steps. It is without a doubt the best antioxidant for sensitive or problem skin, which is why I find myself recommending it almost every day at Dr. Laura Clinic.

why i love niacinamide

Niacinamide, which you might see as Vitamin B3 in an ingredient list, is an antioxidant. It works across skin types because it strengthens the skin barrier, regulates oil, improves uneven tone and supports overall resilience.

Everyone needs an antioxidant in their skincare routine, generally either Vitamin C or Niacinamide. If you deal with breakouts, irritation, redness or sensitivity, niacinamide is the antioxidant for you.

It belongs in your AM routine, and you only need ONE niacinamide product in your routine. If you already use Vitamin C, you don't need niacinamide.

Let's look at some of my favourites!

DON'T UNDERESTIMATE THIS POWERHOUSE

While Vitamin C is often regarded as "the gold standard" in antioxidant skincare, niacinamide is the unsung hero of skin health. If you don't have an antioxidant in your skincare routine, you need one. You may not see life-changing results any time soon, but future you will look and feel so much better for it!

BONUS TIP IF YOU MADE IT TO THE END

Always follow your antioxidant with SPF for total protection from UV rays and other environmental factors that will age the skin.
