12% PURE ASCORBIC ACID (L-ASCORBIC ACID): The gold standard vitamin C, clinically proven to stimulate collagen synthesis, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and dark spots, and boost radiance. Delivered at full potency by the Multi Dose packaging system.

SALICYLIC ACID AND NEUROSENSINE (ACETYL DIPEPTIDE-1 CETYL ESTER): Salicylic acid gently exfoliates and refines pores; Neurosensine is a synthetic dipeptide that calms the skin and reduces the sensitivity and tingling that pure vitamin C can cause.

DUAL HYALURONIC ACID (SODIUM HYALURONATE AND HYDROLYZED HYALURONIC ACID): Two molecular weights of hyaluronic acid working at different skin depths to hydrate, plump and support a smooth, comfortable texture.

Why It's Phare Approved

Pure ascorbic acid (L-ascorbic acid) is the gold standard vitamin C for anti-ageing and brightening, but it is notoriously unstable and degrades rapidly once exposed to air and light. The Multi Dose packaging solves this by dispensing individual sealed doses, so the vitamin C remains at full 12% potency throughout. Same formula as the established Pure Vitamin C12, with the addition of salicylic acid for gentle exfoliation and Neurosensine for sensitivity. Contains fragrance.

1. Apply 3 to 4 drops morning and/or evening to cleansed face and neck.
2. Use before moisturiser. Follow with SPF in the morning.
3. Avoid contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse with water.
4. Some tingling on first use is normal with pure ascorbic acid; reduce frequency if sensitivity persists.

Pure ascorbic acid (vitamin C) degrades rapidly when exposed to air and light, meaning a standard serum bottle loses potency each time it is opened. The Multi Dose system dispenses individual airtight, light-protected doses, so each application is as fresh and potent as the first, rather than declining throughout the bottle's use.
Mild tingling is normal with pure ascorbic acid, particularly on first use or if your skin is not accustomed to vitamin C. Neurosensine is included in the formula specifically to reduce this sensation. If tingling is significant, start with every other day use and build up gradually.
Yes, though not in the same routine. The classic approach is vitamin C in the morning and retinol in the evening. Both increase photosensitivity, so daily SPF is non-negotiable when using either.
Vitamin C is generally considered safe during pregnancy. However, this formula contains salicylic acid as a leave-on product, which is generally approached with caution during pregnancy, and also contains fragrance and alcohol. We would recommend checking with Dr Laura or your midwife before using during pregnancy.
