A fragrance-free leave-on exfoliating face lotion with a unique triple acid blend of salicylic acid, mandelic acid and gluconolactone. Provides 48-hour hydration while gently resurfacing for softer, smoother skin. Suitable for daily use on sensitive skin.

SALICYLIC ACID AND MANDELIC ACID: BHA and AHA pair for targeted pore-clearing and surface resurfacing. Mandelic acid is gentler than glycolic due to its larger molecule size, making it better tolerated by sensitive skin.

GLUCONOLACTONE (PHA): The gentlest acid in the blend. A PHA that exfoliates at the skin surface while simultaneously drawing in moisture, making it particularly suited to sensitive or reactive skin.

NIACINAMIDE AND PANTHENOL: Niacinamide supports the skin barrier and brightens; panthenol hydrates and soothes to counterbalance the exfoliation and prevent dryness.

TRIPLE ACID EXFOLIATION: Salicylic acid, mandelic acid and gluconolactone (PHA) provide complementary chemical exfoliation in one leave-on lotion, gently promoting surface cell renewal for softer, smoother and more even-looking skin.
48-HOUR HYDRATION: Niacinamide, panthenol and glycerin hydrate, soothe and support the skin barrier while the acids work, preventing the dryness common with standard exfoliants.

Salicylic acid is a BHA that penetrates into pores to clear congestion and control oil. Mandelic acid is a large molecule AHA that resurfaces more gently than glycolic due to its slower penetration. Gluconolactone is a PHA that exfoliates at the surface while attracting moisture, making it the gentlest of the three and well suited to sensitive skin.
No. It is a leave-on treatment that works throughout the day or overnight. Apply after cleansing, follow with moisturiser if needed, and always SPF in the morning.
It is best not to layer this directly with a retinoid in the same routine. Use the SA Lotion in the morning and retinol in the evening, or alternate evenings. Reduce frequency of one or both if you experience any sensitivity.
We would advise checking with Dr Laura or your midwife before using this during pregnancy. It contains salicylic acid as a leave-on product, which is generally approached with caution during pregnancy even at low concentrations.
