A mini dual-bristle detangling brush with a flexible head, gentle enough for children's hair and fine adult hair.
GENTLE ON SENSITIVE SCALPS: The flexible head bends with the hair rather than pulling against knots, making it comfortable for children.
DETANGLES WITHOUT TEARS: Soft dual bristles work through tangles without the tugging and discomfort of standard brushes.
COMPACT SIZE: The smaller brush head is easier to manoeuvre through fine or shorter hair without over-brushing.
SUITS ADULTS TOO: Works equally well for fine, delicate, or shorter adult hair.
Children's hair is thinner and more fragile than adult hair, and scalps are more sensitive, so a standard brush can be uncomfortable and damaging even when used gently. The Baby Belle has a flexible head that bends with the resistance of knots rather than pulling against them, which is what makes hair time less of a battle. I've used it on my own children since they were small, and recommend it to any parent dealing with post-bath tangles or morning hair stress.
1. Start at the ends of the hair, not the roots. With children, hold the hair above the section you're working through to protect the scalp from pulling.
2. Work upwards in short, gentle strokes, freeing knots gradually before moving higher.
3. Once the ends are free, brush through from roots to ends.
4. Use on dry or damp hair. For very tangled hair after washing, apply a small amount of detangling spray or conditioner first.
5. Clean weekly by rinsing with warm soapy water, then leave bristle-side down to air dry.
From any age once a child has enough hair to brush. The flexible head and soft bristles are gentle enough for toddler hair. For newborns and very young babies with minimal hair, a soft-bristled baby brush is more appropriate.
Yes, particularly for fine, shorter, or delicate hair where a full-size brush feels like too much. The smaller head gives more control and the flexible design is equally gentle on adult scalps.
Yes. For curly hair, work in sections and use a small amount of leave-in conditioner or detangling spray first to reduce friction. The flexible head is especially helpful on curly textures as it adjusts to the shape of the curl rather than fighting it.
Remove hair from the bristles after each use. Rinse weekly with warm soapy water, work through the base gently, rinse clean, and leave to air dry bristle-side down.
