Why It's Phare Approved

One of the things that stops people applying enough SPF is the effort of working a cream into every exposed area, especially on children. The mist format changes that. It covers face and body quickly, and the spray makes it easy to be generous with the amount, which is where most people fall short. This is what I pack for family holidays, used as a primary SPF on kids and adults alike as well as for top-ups during the day. Contains light fragrance, so not ideal for fragrance-sensitive skin.

1. Shake well before each use.
2. For the body: hold 20 to 30cm away and spray evenly over all exposed skin.
3. For the face: spray into your hands and press onto the skin, or close your eyes and spray at arm's length, sweeping across.
4. Reapply every two hours in direct sun, and immediately after swimming or sweating.

Both. The mist format makes it easy to apply generously, which is the main reason primary SPF application breaks down with traditional formulas. As long as you're using enough, this works as a standalone SPF for face and body. It's also ideal for mid-day top-ups over makeup.
No. The silicone-based formula dries to an invisible, non-greasy finish. Spray at arm's length rather than close up and it settles evenly without lifting what's underneath.
For most people, no. If you have sensitive, reactive, or fragrance-intolerant skin, the Anthelios UVMune 400 Invisible Fluid is the better daily option. It's fragrance-free and offers stronger UVA protection on top.
For reapplication purposes, SPF50 gives excellent protection, particularly when you're already wearing a full morning layer. The practical reality is that most people don't apply enough SPF to get the labelled protection anyway, so reapplying at all matters more than the number. If maximum long-UVA coverage is your priority, the Anthelios UVMune 400 Invisible Fluid with MEXORYL 400 is the stronger daily base.
