Why It's Phare Approved

Dandruff on an oily scalp has a different texture and cause than on dry hair. Excess sebum feeds the yeast responsible for flaking and makes scalp buildup more pronounced. This formula uses selenium sulfide to target the fungal cause directly, with menthol to cut through oiliness and leave the scalp feeling genuinely clean. It's a more purifying formula than the Sensitive or Dry Hair versions, better suited to scalps that feel greasy between washes.

1. Apply to wet hair and work into a lather on the scalp.
2. Massage in and leave for 2 minutes.
3. Rinse thoroughly.
4. Use twice a week for the first month, then once weekly to maintain.

The formulas are similar, but the conditioning profile differs. The Dry Hair version includes dimethicone and Vitamin E for extra nourishment. This version is lighter, better suited to oily scalps that don't need added conditioning.
Use with some care. Selenium sulfide-based shampoos can gradually affect colour with frequent use. For colour-treated hair, the Sensitive version (piroctone olamine) is a gentler choice.
Twice a week for active dandruff, reducing to once weekly once under control. On other wash days you can use a gentle everyday shampoo.
Visible flakes reduce significantly from the first wash. Consistent use over 4 weeks gives the most sustained improvement.
