1. Apply as the last step of your morning skincare routine, after serums and moisturiser.
2. Use a coin-sized amount (roughly two finger lengths) for face and neck.

This formula uses a creamier, lotion-based base built on rice extract, suited to normal, dry and sensitive skin. The Aqua-Fresh uses a lighter, watery base designed for oily and combination skin. Choose this one if your skin tends to feel dry or tight; choose the Aqua-Fresh if your skin runs oily or if you break out from richer textures.
Yes. The UV filters in this formula (Uvinul A Plus, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Tinosorb M and Uvasorb HEB) are considered safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The formula contains no Oxybenzone or Octinoxate, the two UV filters most commonly flagged during pregnancy. SPF is especially important when pregnant, as hormonal changes can trigger melasma and pigmentation.
Chemical. It uses four photostable UV filters with no zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. Chemical filters absorb UV radiation rather than physically reflecting it, which is why there's no white cast on any skin tone. The four filters are photostable, meaning they maintain their protection through the day without breaking down.
Possibly. This formula is richer, developed specifically for normal to dry skin. The emollient base may not suit skin that congests easily or runs very oily. If your skin is acne-prone or combination-to-oily, the Beauty of Joseon Aqua-Fresh is the better fit. It uses a much lighter, watery base designed for exactly that skin type.
