Glycolic and lactic acids at a clinically meaningful concentration, formulated to work within the Obagi Nu-Derm system. Glycolic accelerates cell turnover and tackles pigmentation; lactic adds hydration alongside the exfoliation. Best suited to normal to oily and more mature skin. Use as directed within your programme.

1. Apply a thin, even layer to cleansed skin once daily, or as directed by Dr Laura as part of your Nu-Derm programme.
2. Allow to absorb fully before applying the next step.
3. Always follow with SPF in the morning. AHAs increase photosensitivity, so daily sun protection is essential.
Purified Water, Glycolic Acid, Emulsifying Wax, Triethanolamine, Glycerin, Lactic Acid, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Kalaya Oil, Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Saponins.

Exfoderm contains phytic acid and is formulated for normal to dry skin. Exfoderm Forte contains glycolic and lactic acids at a higher exfoliation strength and is formulated for normal to oily and more mature skin types. Your Nu-Derm programme will specify which version is right for your skin.
Some initial tingling, sensitivity or visible skin shedding is normal in the early weeks of a Nu-Derm programme, particularly with the Forte formula. This typically settles as the skin adjusts. If irritation is significant or persistent, contact Dr Laura before continuing.
Yes, absolutely. Glycolic acid increases the skin's sensitivity to UV, making daily broad-spectrum SPF non-negotiable. Skipping SPF while using any AHA will slow results and risk pigmentation worsening rather than improving.
Glycolic acid in low concentrations is generally considered low risk during pregnancy, but as this is a clinically dosed product used as part of a prescription programme, always consult Dr Laura or your midwife before continuing use during pregnancy.
