A plant-based base coat that improves colour adhesion, prevents staining, and extends wear from the first layer.

1. Apply one coat to clean, bare nails before any colour polish.
2. Allow to dry for one to two minutes.
3. Apply your colour polish on top, then finish with Top Coat Sunshine for maximum wear.
Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Alcohol Denat., Stearalkonium Bentonite, Isopropyl Alcohol, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol/Trimellitic Anhydride Copolymer, Silica, N-Butyl Alcohol, Phosphoric Acid.

You don't have to, but it makes a noticeable difference to how long polish lasts. The adhesion layer means colour grips the nail rather than peeling from the edges. Under darker shades, it also prevents the nail plate from absorbing colour and tinting.
