I love this exfoliant with 6% phytic acid for dry and sensitive skin types. Phytic acid is gentler than glycolic or lactic acid, which is why the Obagi Nu-Derm system uses Exfoderm for sensitive skin and Exfoderm Forte (glycolic-based) for normal to oily. It does genuine work on texture and tone with consistent daily use, without the redness or irritation of stronger acids. The step in the routine that reveals radiant skin gradually, rather than all at once.

1. Apply a thin layer to clean skin once daily.
2. Use morning or evening, after cleansing and any treatment serum.
3. Follow with moisturiser. In the morning, follow with SPF.

Yes. Phytic acid and the emollients in this formula are safe during pregnancy. It's already used as part of pregnancy skincare routines.
Use them on alternate evenings rather than the same night. Phytic acid and retinol both work better without compounding two actives at once. On alternate nights you get both benefits without the irritation risk.
