Why It's Phare Approved

Dandruff on dry hair is easy to get wrong with treatment. Most anti-dandruff shampoos strip the scalp and make dry hair worse. This formula uses selenium sulfide, one of the most clinically effective anti-dandruff agents, in a conditioning base with dimethicone and Vitamin E. It treats the dandruff without leaving dry hair feeling stripped or rough. I recommend it for anyone with visible flaking on hair that's already on the drier side.

1. Apply to wet hair and work into a lather on the scalp.
2. Massage in and leave for 2 minutes.
3. Rinse thoroughly.
4. Use twice a week for the first month, then once weekly to maintain.

This version uses selenium sulfide, a stronger anti-dandruff agent than piroctone olamine. It's more potent for stubborn dandruff and formulated with conditioning ingredients to counteract any drying effect. Use this version for significant dandruff on dry or normal hair. For sensitive or reactive scalps, choose the Sensitive version.
Use with some care. Selenium sulfide-based shampoos can gradually affect colour with very frequent use. For colour-treated hair, the Sensitive version is a gentler choice.
Twice a week for active dandruff, reducing to once weekly once under control.
Visible flakes reduce significantly from the first wash. For lasting control, use consistently for at least 4 weeks. The 6-week protection refers to the sustained effect when used as directed.
