It won't last two weeks like gel, but it holds up better than most regular polishes. Expect three to five days of solid wear with a top coat. The trade-off is no UV damage, no nail thinning from removal, and your nails repairing rather than degrading underneath.

It's a real difference. The petroleum-based ingredients in standard polish are linked to nail thinning and absorption through the nail bed. Replacing them with bio-sourced alternatives reduces both. It's not perfect (nothing is 100% plant-based), but at 85.5% it's one of the highest in the category.

Not essential, but worth it if you want longer wear. The polish works on its own and you'll get a few days of wear, but a base coat prevents tinting on lighter natural nails, and a top coat extends the wear and adds shine. Manucurist makes both in the same plant-based range.
