Why It's Phare Approved

This is a multi-action anti-ageing serum, not a straight vitamin C. The 3 AOX System uses two stabilised vitamin C derivatives (Ascorbyl Glucoside and Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate) with Carnosine. These forms of vitamin C are gentler and much more stable than pure ascorbic acid, but they work more slowly, so consistency matters. What makes this formula unusual is that it also contains Pro-Retinol for cell renewal, Matrixyl peptides for collagen support, and glycolic acid for surface exfoliation, essentially three treatments in one. Because of the AHA and retinol, daily SPF is non-negotiable and I wouldn't use it during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Contains fragrance.

1. Apply 3 to 4 drops to cleansed face, neck and décolleté morning and/or evening.
2. Follow with moisturiser. Broad-spectrum SPF is essential in the morning, as this formula contains glycolic acid and Pro-Retinol.
3. Avoid the eye area. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
4. If you're new to retinol or AHAs, start every other night and build up as your skin adjusts.

It combines two stabilised vitamin C derivatives with Pro-Retinol, Matrixyl peptides and glycolic acid, so a single serum works on wrinkles, firmness, dullness, uneven tone and texture at once rather than needing three or four separate products.
Yes. Ascorbyl Glucoside and Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate are stabilised derivatives of vitamin C. They're gentler on the skin than pure L-ascorbic acid and don't oxidise as quickly, which makes them the right choice for a formula that also contains retinol and AHA. The trade-off is that they work more gradually, so daily use matters.
This already contains Pro-Retinol, so a separate retinol serum on the same evening would be too much for most people. If you're an established retinol user, use this on nights you're not doing your usual retinol, or use it as your morning serum instead.
No, we wouldn't recommend it during pregnancy or breastfeeding. It contains Pro-Retinol (Retinyl Palmitate) and glycolic acid, both of which are generally avoided. Please check with Dr Laura or your midwife for a pregnancy-safe alternative.
