The Glow finish provides what Colorescience describe as a champagne candlelit effect, a soft pearlescent luminosity that reads as healthy, lit-from-within skin rather than visible shimmer or glitter particles. The glow comes from pearlescent pigments rather than reflective shimmer. Most users describe it as subtle enough for daily wear while still giving a noticeable radiance boost.
All Face Shields share the same EnviroScreen® Technology, 100% mineral SPF50 and PA++++ protection. The differences are finish and coverage. Glow adds a soft pearlescent champagne radiance with a dewy finish. Classic has a sheer universal tint with a naturally dewy, barely-there finish. Matte has an oil-absorbing matte finish for oily/combination skin. Flex has tone-adapting encapsulated pigments for buildable medium coverage. No-Show is completely untinted and invisible.
Yes. The champagne pearlescent glow blends warmly across all skin tones. For deeper skin tones wanting more intensive luminosity, the Bronze Face Shield may be a good option for mixing or layering.
Yes. The formula is 100% mineral (Zinc Oxide only), fragrance-free, and contains no ingredients contraindicated during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Mineral sunscreens with Zinc Oxide are the recommended choice during pregnancy, and this is a good daily option throughout.
