Cuticle oils are one of the simplest things you can do for your nails and most people skip them. Solar Oil is the one I use on my own nails and the first thing I'd recommend to anyone who gets shellac or gel regularly. Jojoba, sweet almond, and rice bran oil absorb quickly without leaving a residue, so it's practical to use any time of day. Works over gel and shellac, not just bare nails. Small bottle, low price, easy habit.

1. Shake gently before use to mix the oil components.
2. Apply a small amount using the built-in brush applicator to each nail and cuticle.
3. Massage into the cuticle in gentle circular motions until absorbed.
4. Use morning and/or evening, over bare nails, shellac, or gel.
Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Parfum (Fragrance), Tocopheryl Acetate.

The difference is in how the oils are combined. Jojoba acts as a penetration enhancer, carrying the conditioning oils deeper into the nail plate and skin rather than just sitting on the surface. This is what makes repeated use more effective than applying a plain oil like olive or coconut.
