Apply generously and evenly to the face, neck and all sun-exposed areas of the body at least 15 to 30 minutes before sun exposure. Pay particular attention to sensitive and frequently missed areas — ears, back of neck, bald scalp, back of hands. Reapply every two hours during sun exposure, and more frequently after swimming, sweating or towel drying. For effective protection, apply 2mg per cm² — most people apply significantly less than this, which substantially reduces SPF efficacy. This product does not replace other protective measures — seek shade during peak hours and wear protective clothing. Actinic keratosis is a pre-cancerous skin condition caused by cumulative UV damage to keratinocytes — the surface cells of the skin. It appears as rough, scaly patches, most commonly on the face, scalp, ears, back of hands and areas of long-term sun exposure.
