Why It's Phare Approved

Most SPFs aggravate sensitive and reactive skin at the same step they're meant to protect it. This one does the opposite. The fermented Centella Asiatica complex, with three types of Centella extract plus isolated Asiaticoside and Madecassoside, gives it genuine anti-inflammatory and barrier-supporting benefit. The 10-type Hyaluronic Acid system hydrates at multiple skin depths, making it good enough as a combined moisturiser and SPF step. At €23 for 50ml it's affordable enough to use generously, and I reach for it for patients with rosacea, reactive skin, or anyone post-procedure who needs calming SPF from day one.

1. Apply as the last step of your morning routine, after serums and moisturiser.
2. Use a coin-sized amount for face and neck, pressing gently into the skin.
3. Allow 30 seconds to absorb before applying makeup.
4. Reapply every two hours during direct sun exposure, after swimming, or after towel-drying.

These are all well-tolerated, highly photostable Korean and European approved chemical filters. Free from Oxybenzone and Octinoxate, reef-safe.
Yes. The UV filters in this formula (Ethylhexyl Triazone, Tinosorb S, Mexoryl SX and Uvinul A Plus), Centella Asiatica, Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid are all considered safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. SPF is especially important during pregnancy when hormonal changes can trigger melasma and pigmentation.
Yes, the formula contains Parfum. In practice it has been well tolerated by sensitive and rosacea-prone users, as the reviews reflect. If your skin is strongly fragrance-sensitive or you have reacted to fragranced products before, patch test on your inner arm first. For a fragrance-free alternative, the Tocobo Bio Watery Sun Cream suits sensitive skin and contains no fragrance.
