The initial skincare consultation is just that. We ask all prospective patients to begin with a 1:1 consultation with Dr. Laura or her team before diving into your regimen or treatment plan. This allows us to assess your skin, you concerns and your unique goals to create the perfect plan for you.

Wrinkle Relaxers
Wrinkle relaxer injections are injections of the medication Botulinum Toxin A. Botox is one of the trade names under which this medication is sold. In medicine we use wrinkle relaxers to create a fresher and more youthful appearance by temporarily relaxing facial muscles. BOTOX works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles. This reduces the muscle activity that causes moderate to severe lines to form. It can also be used to create better facial balance and symmetry as well as reducing the downward pull of certain muscles on the face and neck which can cause us to look sad, angry or tired. While typically people talk about 1 to 3 areas for botox, often the best approach can be to sprinkle a small amount of wrinkle relaxer into the various muscle groups through the face to give an overall freshness.
Bespoke Corrective Peels
Bespoke corrective peels work in a variety of mechanisms to help shed dead skin cells from the outer layers of the skin. At Dr. Laura Clinic we have a variety of peels available to treat all the concerns and Dr. Laura and her team will choose the most appropriate peel for you based on your concerns. We offer a range from superficial to higher penetrating peels that can only be performed by medical professionals and have more downtime.
SkinPen Microneedling
SkinPen is the only FDA approved micro needling device on the market. The primary aim with treatment is collagen induction. Remember our collagen starts to decrease from 25 years of age. It is also used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, pigmentation & texture issues and for full skin rejuvenation. Medical micro needling differs from cosmetic micro needling as we can go deeper to get down into the dermis where collagen and elastin is formed. There can be some downtime with SkinPen which will vary from patient. Usually a course of 3-6 treatments is required with maintenance thereafter.

Laser Suite
We use only medical grade lasers, being one of the first medical clinics in Ireland to have the new Cutera XEO machine with Cutera's proprietary Genesis Technology. We are also one of the first clinics to have Lase MD Ultra from Lutronic, another world class Thulium Laser and its proprietary Baby Face Facial.
Laser and IPL can be used to effectively treat a variety of concerns from spider veins, age spots, scars, pigmentation, facial veins as well as collagen building. Cutera Laser Genesis is also FDA approved for the treatment of rosacea. After an initial consultation with Dr. Laura or her team we will come up with a treatment plan to suit your needs.
Profhilo
Profhilo® consists of one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid (HA) available in any aesthetic product. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance, which is a major component of our skin and has a function in wound repair, hydration, and cell to cell communication. One of the main characteristics of hyaluronic acid is that it effectively binds water like a sponge. This means it can add instant hydration to skin, improving glow and overall skin quality. Over time it helps to boost collagen as well.
